5-story Romanesque-revival cooperative-apartment building completed in the early 1890s. The 4-bay facade is clad in red brick with beige brick and stone trim, above a banded limestone ground floor and brownstone basement level. The entrance is in the 2nd bay from the east, atop a small brownstone stop, with glass-and-wood double-doors and a transom in a molded surround topped by a cornice. There is a single-window on either side (and at the basement level, the areaway in front of which is enclosed by an iron fence), and the west end bay has a wood-and-glass secondary door.
The upper floors have wide single-windows in the middle bays and tripartite windows with black iron mullions in the end bays. Each bay is framed by beige brick quoins, and there are also quoins at the edges of the facade. The windows are topped by splayed stone lintels with keystones, and at the 2nd-4th floors the keystones at the outer bays are topped by stone panels with winged faces above garlands, with a semi-circle scroll at either end enclosing a floral frond. A black iron fire escape runs down the middle two bays of the facade, which is crowned by a simple, dentiled black metal roof cornice.
The west elevation is clad in brown brick with no openings except for the single-windows lining the light well at the center.
