5-story Renaissance-revival (with Queen Anne elements) residential building completed in 1890. Designed by A.B. Ogden & Son, it is the last remaining of four adjoining apartment buildings completed at the same time in a row along the avenue. It is clad in yellow-tan brick with white-painted stone trim.
The main entrance is left of center on the north facade, with a portico in front formed by a pair of columns with Corinthian capitals in front of similar pilasters, with an ornamented entablature on top, capped by a cornice and iron railing for the small 2nd-floor balcony created by the portico. The low sidewalls of the portico enclose a short stoop of three steps, painted brown. The entry consists of a simple glass-and-wood door. To the left is a storefront of green metal and plate-glass, with a central entrance atop small brick steps, with granite below the show-windows. A larger storefront on the right has a projecting seating area enclosed by wood-and-glass, with a sloped sheet-metal roof, extending not quite to the far west end, where there is a dark-grey stone, metal, and glass storefront section that continues onto the west facade. This storefront has a central entrance with double-doors framed by shiny pressed metal.
The upper floors on the wide north facade have paired windows at the east end, followed by a single-window bay, another set of paired windows, and two more single-windows. The 2nd floor is set off by a dentiled string course topped by a white-painted band. Another white band bisects the 2nd floor, with a third (featuring a wave motif) stretching across the level of the window-tops, each of which features an arched brick lintel. Another string course with two offset rows of dentils underlines the 3rd floor, with matching string courses running across it. The windows here have splayed brick lintels with keystones. A pair of projecting chimney shafts originate halfway up this floor, with pairs of white stone imposts featuring short egg-and-dart patterns along the bottom edges framing a brick arch that forms the bottom of each shaft. The string courses continue across the shafts as well. At the northwest corner of the facade there is a 2-story rounded brick column with its base at the top of the 2nd floor, springing from a white stone shell-like form. A cornice sets off the 4th floor, which has two white bands, and splayed brick lintels with keystones. A band course between the top two floors have vertical notches and white stone spandrel panels at each bay, ornamented with foliate ornament. These are interrupted by the two shafts, both of which have two vertical grooves at the 4th-5th floors. The paired window bay at the center slightly projects at the top two floors, with small brackets supporting the cornice below. A black metal fire escape also runs down this bay. The top floor has white stone lintels, and the facade is crowned by a white metal roof cornice with brackets, dentils, and panels. The cornice projects out at the shafts, and also the center bay, where it features a triangular pediment rising above. The cornice is also rounded at the northwest corner, wrapping around the column below.
The narrower west facade facing the avenue has three bays of single-windows, with ornament and trim matching that seen on the north facade. The ground floor on the west side is occupied by Hi Life Bar & Grill, while the storefront at the east end of the north facade is occupied by New Magic Fingers massage.
