6-story Romanesque residential building completed in 1890, along with the two buildings to the west. It is clad in orange brick with rough-faced brownstone trim and a smooth brownstone ground floor. The residential entrance is at the west end of the narrow north facade, and matches those on the next two buildings. It has a short stoop leading up to paneled wood-and-glass double-doors set in a round-arch with an intricate pattern along the edge of the architrave. A small incised circle with the number "200" sits just above. Flanking the doorway is a pair of columns with knob-like capitals bearing an organic pattern. A rough-faced band runs across the top of the ground floor, changing to a thinner, patterned band over the doorway and around the columns. To the left there are two large single-windows with iron grilles at a commercial space, and a basement areaway below enclosed by an iron fence. The longer east facade on the avenue is lined with metal-and-glass storefronts on the ground floor. At both corners are partially-engaged colonettes springing from organic bases near the top of the ground floor, each with an organic-patterned band seeming to "tie" it to the corner pier. These colonnettes extends the full height of the facade, and are crossed by the stone lintel courses and sill courses that line each floor; these also cross over the slightly-projecting piers between the facade segments. There are end bays with single-windows, and in between is a center bay of paired windows, and two bays with three single-windows, the innermost of both being narrower. Between the 2nd & 3rd floors, and the 3rd & 4th, are spandrel panels with dogstooth brickwork. Between the 4th & 5th floor, and above the 5th are band of lighter-colored brick bordering the brownstone banding. A pair of salmon-colored metal fire escapes runs down the east facade. The north and south ends of the building end at the 5th floor, while the middle section rises to a 6th floor with four bays of square window openings.

The upper floors of the north facade on 78th Street have two single-windows at the left and middle, and a narrow double-window on the right. The decoration follows the pattern of that on the longer east elevation, with a projecting, semi-engaged colonnette at both ends. The south elevation is clad in redder brick and has three bays of single-windows, without the ornament seen on the main facades. There is a large stainless-steel pipe fixed to the wall by impressive-looking, triangular steel brackets. The ground floor is occupied by More & More Antiques, Posies florist, and Bagel Talk.
