Tejona Wind Farm lies along a NW-SE-oriented ridge, about 1-2 km west of the northwest end of Lake Arenal, in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Commissioned in 2002, it was built with 30 Vestas V47/660 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 19.8 MW.

Note: Google images show that at least one of the 30 turbines has had the nacelle and rotor removed (and apparently not replaced).
