Meadow Lake wind farms are located in southwest White County, Indiana, straddling Interstate 65 about 10-25 miles north of Lafayette. Five phases have been constructed (so far):
• Phase I (2009, east section) consists of 121 Vestas V82/1650 wind turbines.
• Phase II (2010, west-central section) consists of 66 Acciona AW-1500/82 turbines.
• Phase III (2010, south/southwest section) consists of 69 GE Energy 1.5 xle turbines.
• Phase IV (2010, northwest-central section) consists of 47 Suzlon S88/2100 turbines.
• Phase V (2017, north section) consists of 50 Vestas V110/2000 turbines.
In total, the 414 turbines have a combined nominal capacity of 801.25 megawatts.

One notable feature of the wind farm is that every single aircraft beacon atop every turbine is synced to flash in unison. This makes for a rather surreal drive up or down Interstate 65 at night.
