Fowler Ridge wind farm is located in Benton County, Indiana, within an area stretching about 16 miles E-W and 7 miles N-S, roughly south and east of the town of Fowler. It consists of two phases, both commissioned in 2009. Phase I contains 182 Vestas V82/1650 (1.65MW) wind turbines and 40 Clipper Liberty C89's (2.5MW). Phase II contains 133 GE Energy 1.5 sle (1.5MW) turbines. The Clippers are mostly in the southeast section of the wind farm, the Vestas are in the northeast and center, and the phase II GE's are in the west. The total of 355 turbines have a combined nominal capacity of 600 MW.
