La Gloria Wind Farm (aka Planta Eólica Guanacaste, after the company) is located astride Route 918 in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica, about 3-7 km WNW of the village of Guayabo (5-9 km along the road), and about 20 km northeast of the provincial capital Liberia. Commissioned in 2009, it consists of 55 Wobben (a subsidiary of Enercon) E44/900 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 49.5 MW.
