Hotel constructed between Spring 1973 and around Fall 1973, it was formerly Holiday Inn (c. Fall 1973-c. mid 1980's), Ramada Inn (c. mid 1980's-July 1996; late-January 2003-April 11, 2013), Land's Inn/Land's Inn & Convention Center (July 1996-late-January 2003), and Baymont Inn & Suites (April 12, 2013-January 2016). This hotel was fully renovated for over four months and reopened in late-May 2016 as Holiday Inn Express & Suites (again). Its original location was located at 5323 W US-10, it became Comfort Inn on May 16, 2016.

This is also the first hotel chain to be constructed in the Ludington area, it has changed names five times! Now, this hotel has returned to its original name that opened first in 1973, Holiday Inn!
