A beautiful piece of work 9m high, is worth seeing due to the uncommonly moderate expression of statue but still solid rock due to most recent times and technology of construction.
Built in 1983-1985, it is composed of 4 huge pieces of pink granite that came from Siberia. Now is one of the most big and unusual monuments devoted to the past heroes.
Since this dominate on all other monuments around,the Administration of Peschanokopskoye is building its rival,so called "Mother of Children Who Never Came Back" wich is supposed to praise a legendary woman lived in Peschanokopskoye the last century. Expected to be finished in 2008,with the renovations of the town.
