5-story Neo-Grec residential building copleted in 1887. Designed by Hubert & Pirsson, it is clad in red-painted brick above a variety of ground-floor storefront lining the avenue. The entrance to the upper floors on the west facade is next to the northernmost storefront, with paneled, brown wood-and-glass double-doors atop two small steps. They are framed by brown-painted pilasters with a scrolled pediment on top. The upper floors have 15 bays of single-windows with simple stone sills and flat lintels, also painted red. There is a red metal fire escape near the center of the facade.

The south facade on 69th Street has a continuation of the south storefront at its west end, with the rest of the ground floor clad in brown-painted, rough-faced and rusticated stone, with another door to the upper floors. This entry is smaller, with a glass door, sidelight and transom. The upper floors have a slightly-projecting chimney shaft near the west end, adorned with square panels of dogstooth brickwork at the 3rd & 5th floors, and a taller, vertical recessed panel at the 4th. Another matching chimney shaft is near the east end, by a single-window end bay. In the middle are three bays of single-windows, with a red metal fire escape over the center one. There is a short, chamfered corner at the southeast, with single-windows.

The west facade is crowned by a pair of white metal roof cornices, the south one wider, that have brackets and dentils. Near the center of each is a triangular pediment. The south facade is also topped by a similar cornice, without a pediment. The north elevation is red-painted brick with no openings. The building contains 65 apartment units. The ground floor is occupied by Alexis Bittar jewelry, SEE eyewear and opticians, Marine Layer clothing, and Allbirds shoes.
