Designed in 2017 by Morphosis, the building is clad in a warm bronze-colored metal and topped by a swooping lilypad roof.

Because a percentage of the building will be used for art, a set of former WPA murals by Ilya Bolotowsky, Albert Swinden and Joseph Rugolo were restored and put on display in the new building. The murals were originally commissioned for the former Goldwater Memorial Hospital which was demolished in 2015 to make way for the new Cornell Tech campus.
