The Twin Teepees, which opened in 1937 on Aurora near Green Lake, was torn down on July 31, 2001. It was classic roadside attraction America.

  • I ate at the Twin Teepees a few times as a kid. It was cool. Pancakes somehow taste better when you're seated inside a faux teepee sort of structure.
  • I never ate there but I remember, having lived in Wallingford from birth until I was 5, I always loved going by there when we'd go by it on Aroura, I loved just the site of the Twin Teepees, wish I'd been taken there while it was still around
