Established in 1904 by Mrs. Butcharts who was wife of the owner who had a cement factory on the property. After Mr. Butchart excusted the land that same year his wife started the garden. Today it is one of the biggest attractions of Victoria. During the summers on saturdays are fireworks and the winter are the lights.
