Saanich Inlet

Canada / British Columbia / Cowichan Valley /
 water, inlet

Saanich inlet has proved for many years to be a barrier to up-island transport from the Greater Victoria region.
It is traversed by a small ferry boat as a shortcut alternative to the long drive around the inlet.
Note: Saanich Inlet actually extends about 14 kilometers north of the upper end of this polygon, but due to a polypoint limit glitch which isn't seeming to get fixed, I can't make it any bigger than it already is.
