Sky View Plaza- 1964-1970 was a Development completed by Real Estate Developer Hymen Lake - Husband to Orlando Florida well-known philanthropists Harriett Lake
Hymen Lake was known for being one of the first to develop the swamplands of South Orange County.
Hymen Lake purchased large tracts of land in South Orange County starting in 1956 spanning from US441 to Turkey lake road both sides of Sand Lake Road.
Originally the site plans called for "Beeline Mall" named after the Beeline Expressway being proposed but was later moved a little bit more south.
This Plaza includes:
Publix ,Taco Bell, Olive Garden, DD discount, AT&T Store
Walgreens - moved operations to it own property across the street adjacent to the bank.
Radio Shack, K-Mart, Circuit City, Blockbuster Video, Office Depot - all closed
