Named in honor of former School president Rev. Philip J. Postell, S.J., Postell Stadium was renovated in 2010 to include a newly constructed entranceway, elevated viewing areas, increased spectator seating, new concession stands and press box, and upgraded lighting and sound systems. The turfed facility (known as Gary Pasqua ’55 Field) is in heavy use year-round, as football, lacrosse, rugby, and soccer use the stadium as its home venue. A 400-meter track surrounds the field, while a throwing and jump area just outside the stadium provides Jesuit with all of the amenities needed to host a full-scale track & field meet. The nearly 5,000-seat Postell Stadium was built on the existing site of Haggar Stadium, which had served as the home of Jesuit Dallas teams since 1970.
