Estate residence designed c. 1884 in the Shingle style by McKim, Mead & White for James King Gracie {capitalist}. Gracie served as director of Stuyvesant Real Estate Co. and was a descendant of the Gracie family which built Gracie Mansion in New York City. The estate was subsequently owned by George Emlen Roosevelt, Sr. who had McKim design a ballroom wing in 1924.
It was later owned by Terry Choung.
