The medieval church of Saint Columba of Terryglass survives as ruins just southeast of the modern Church of Ireland edifice of the same name. The west, north, and east walls are partly preserved. The church formed part of a monastery established by Saint Columba of Terryglass in the first half of the 6th century. The medieval church appears to have fallen into ruin by the mid-17th century.
