Stanley Baldwin, Earl Baldwin of Bewdley, 1867-1947, prime minister who dominated the Tory government between two world wars, lived here. Also the only British premier to have served under three monarchs (George V, Edward VIII and George VI). The building is part of a row of Grade II* listed building.
