Probably the only pink terminal building in the world, Flamingo Airport's open-air terminal building contains customs, baggage claim, ticket agents, a restaurant/bar and shops for travelers.

The terminal building was upgraded with a new departure/transit lounge in 2002 as part of airport upgrades to handle the daily KLM Amsterdam-Quito and Amsterdam-Lima refueling stopovers, as well as increased direct widebody flights to Amsterdam from Bonaire directly. As both tourism and the frequency of wide-body aircraft calling the airport increase, the terminal is slated to be replaced by a fully modernized facility in the early 2020s.
