Monumental column at former site of oak tree that George Washington marked to designate a corner of his property at the confluence of Four Mile Run and lower Long Branch. Washington's property extended southeastward along the south side of Four Mile Run past the present route of Columbia Pike. The Glencarlyn Library at 300 S. Kensington Street displays a section of the trunk of the tree.
