A junction with seven approach roads located at the southeast corner of the City of Falls Church. The community of Seven Corners derives its name from this intersection. It is primarily a tight urban diamond interchange served by frontage roads between U.S. Route 50 (Arlington Boulevard) and Virginia Route 7 (Leesburg Pike and East Broad Street). The eastern end of Virginia Route 338 (Hillwood Avenue) is on Route 7 just north of the main interchange. Secondary Route 613 east (Wilson Boulevard) is also accessible at the junction of Route 7 and the Route 50 frontage roads. The seventh leg is Secondary Route 613 to the south (Sleepy Hollow Road). It has only partial access to the interchange, with a right-in, right-out stop-controlled intersection on eastbound Route 7.

The intersection has long been a complicated junction. It was reconstructed around 1958 rebuild Route 50 as a freeway below grade, and the traffic configuration has been largely unchanged since that time.
