Designed c. 1937 by noted architect Aymar Embury, II for the Triborough Bridge Authority to be used as their headquarters which quickly became a center of operation for Robert Moses. In 1966, a model room was added to house including various maps, charts, and other artist renderings that planner Robert Moses hoped to have created. These models were later moved to the MTA Bridges and Tunnels Archive.
