Notes: The actual historic use of this structure is disputed locally, with some believing it to have served as a food storage building. The prevailing opinion, however, is that it was used as a storm cellar. Regardless, it is a heavily-constructed building that, in terms of strength, was overbuilt, even for a storm structure.
