Historic concrete cattle dipping vat listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Built: c. 1920
Areas of significance: Agriculture
Area: less than 1 acre
Date added to NRHP: 6/7/2006
Other designations: part of the "Dip That Tick: Texas Tick Fever Eradication in Arkansas" Multiple Property Submission
Notes: Cattle dipping vats like this were used to defend cattle against ticks and other parasite-borne diseases. The cattle would be led into a trough-like channel that would be filled with a pesticide-treated wash. The design was such that the cattle could walk in one end and out the other, receiving the pesticide rinse while walking through the channel.
