Originally Twerton Union Club,remained as the Union Club from c1895 to 1920, after which it was The Lock Toy & Wood manufacturing Company who stayed there until 1937. Then it became The Norris Willis & Co. furniture manufacturers . They were not there long as in 1940 it was listed as The Premiere Gloving Company. After W.W.2. It was G.G.'s Somerset Sauces & Pickles,then it was Weddersley Supply Co., Credit Drapers & Outfitters. Briefly it was (John) Perry's Bar & Cafe, also for a time it was A W Mann Turf Commission Agent & Football Accountant before eventually it became "Bill's Bar". Still in business today as Matty's Cafe.
