For more than 60 years, Dekko has been a strong manufacturing partner to some of the worlds most well-known brands. Established in 1952 by Chester “Chet” E. Dekko and Lyall D. Morrill, Dekko began under the banner of Lyall Electric, with five employees producing ready-made wiring assemblies known as harnesses for manufacturers of commercial refrigerators. The founders believed that manufacturers of commercial refrigerators could benefit from ready-made wiring assemblies, eliminating the labor-intensive practice of hand-wiring cabinets. This inspiration and attention to customer needs led to continued growth and expansion of the brand, and became the foundation of the Dekko value system. As industries continue to change and grow, Dekko intends to continue its legacy of solutions-based innovation and reliable, trusted service.
