The Arthur Erickson House (1950) is a modern, Prairie School work by Lloyd Wright (1890-1978), son of Frank Lloyd Wright. It was one of two houses commissioned by the Erickson Brothers (Arthur and Alfred), who had petroleum company that is now the large Holiday Stationstores chain. The home belonging to Alfred was torn down in 1998. After Arthur died, his wife, Elsie, continued to live in the home until 1981. Then, Arthur’s nephew, Donovan Erickson, moved into the home with his wife, Beth. They sold the home in 1996 to Dr. Brian and Linda R. Nass Tell. Brian is a cardiothoracic surgeon and graduate of the University of Paris. Linda was program coordinator of ''The Eternal Light,'' the NBC television series, also serves as co-host of the WNBC radio series ''In Good Faith" at the time of their marriage in New York City. In 2014 the Tells received the Heritage Award from the City of Edina for their preservation of the Arthur Erickson House.
