Modern architecture designed by Mark Larson, AIA, of Rehkamp Larson Architects. Built in 2013, the 2,527 sq ft, 2 bed, 2 bath, one level house perched atop a rolling prairie site was built for retired couple Jeff and Susan Saffle who had a love of birdwatching. To improve the birdwatching, the plan employed landscape work by Prairie Restorations: the ecological restoration company re-established native prairies on what were previously soybean fields.

The Star Tribune named it the "Home of the Month" for February 2016, and it was featured on the 7th annual AIA MN Home By Architects Tour (2014).
