Notes: This agricultural structure is unusually elaborate for a barn and displays excellent craftsmanship. The barn, which is made of cypress with hand-cut cypress shingled roof, has a complex layout, with 5 distinct levels that historically performed various functions. It is located on the property of Oakland Farm (also known as Tate House), which itself is listed on the NRHP.
