Kinetic Artistry, a laundromat, Vetrinarian Office -- Send packages, get keys made, eat ice cream, find gifts, notarize documents, buy insrance, find religion, get your car fixed, get a haricut, eat pizza, get your wedding invitations made, buy organic food, sell things on consignment,volunteer, hang out, do laundry, play chess, play your guitar, get hit by a car crossing the street, wait for a long time at a traffic light, watch the people go by.

This is the real heart of Takoma. The other one is for tourists. (ok, the farmer's market, Mark's, and the Video Store get props, but.... )
