161-foot, 13-story office building completed in 1915. Designed by F.E. Townsend, it has uninterrupted brick piers above a 2-story base. The east facade on the avenue is three bays wide, with the main entrance is the south bay, and glass storefronts between grey granite piers in the two north bays. On the 40th Street facade, seven bays wide, there are three glass storefronts at the east end, a vent and service entrance, and then more storefronts at the western bays. The 2nd floor has a broad band of stone at the bottom and top, with a ribbon band of windows in black metal framing across the middle.

At the upper floors, the brick piers are beige-colored, with accent stripes of orange brick near the edges. Each bay has a double-window with a grey metal mullion, and grey metal spandrel panels. There is a setback at the top of the 12th floor where the parapet at alternating bays are either slightly recessed or project out to the piers. The 13th floor is set back and not visible from the street. The ground floor is occupied by Cava restaurant, Gregorys Coffee, and Upside Pizza.
