Bank of America (New York City, New York)

USA / New York / New York City, New York
 bank, Modern (architecture)

Designed c. 1966 by the William F. Cann Company and Bank Building and Equipment Corporation of America in the Modernist style as the Elmhurst branch of the Jamaica Savings Bank. It is a striking expression of mid-20th century engineering recalling the works of Felix Candela and Saarinen. The building appears to have been landmarked but has since potentially been revoked due to owner opposition.
