The previous office building was demolished in 2016 to make way for construction of the Disneyland Resort's eastern transportaiton facility and security gateway. The facility was to have bus loading/unloading areas and an open plaza. Pedestrian connections would have lead to the theme parks to the west via an opening occupied by the former Carousel Inn & Suites. It would have also connected to a new 6,800-space parking structure to the south. The facility was originally set to open in 2018, but was been put on hold indefinitely. The site is currently used as a parking lot.
