Site of what some have called the Scientific Fraud of the Century (prior to "cold fusion" at any rate)
At this site Charles Dawson and Arthur Woodward supposedly exhumed skull fragments from the theoretical "missing link" between apes and humans.
The upper right corner of this rectangle marks the approximate location of the famous (infamous?) gravel pit.
