Completed in 1895 to a design by Hollabird & Roche, the exterior of this 17-story building was cleaned and restored between 2002 and 2006. The lobby contains numerous works of art including a mosaic frieze executed by Tiffany Studios; the exterior has a large bronze relief by Herman A. MacNeil.

A pedway connects it to the adjacent Edison Building.
