Barbican is a London Underground and mainline rail station serving the Barbican Centre in the City of London, England. It is on the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines between Farringdon and Moorgate, in Travelcard Zone 1. First Capital Connect trains do notn stop here anymore. the Connection between Farringdon and Moorgate was closed and the rail was taken apart in March of 2009. The Junction was severed to allow platform extension so that 12 car trians could stop at farringdon obn the Thameslink line.
