Marble Arch subway complex (south) - location for The Prisoner (London)

United Kingdom / England / London / Park Lane
tunnel, underpass, interesting place, invisible, metro station

One third of the most complicated networks of pedestrian subways anyhwere in the world (the rest of the network is to the north). This part is so big it has its own postcode! The tunnels here are relatively little used and include what is probably the longest pedestrian subway anywhere in the world (see picture - you really have to go there in person to get a feel for the sheer length, it's significantly longer than the one in Kensington), as well as access to the Hyde Park car park (under the park), for which it serves as a fire escape.

The tunnel features in The Prisoner (where it's a corridor in the Ministry), and was also briefly used as a very long art gallery.
