Slhanay is a large granitic monolity beside the Stawamus Chief that is also known by its historical name, "the Squaw" (now considered offensive). In 2009 the official name Slhanay was adopted in consultation with the Squamish First Nation. It is part of the Stawamus Chief Provincial Park and is a rockclimbing area. A hiking trail leads to the summit but it is less popular than the nearby Chief.
