Has not functioned since the first years of the Syrian conflict. The station was created before the start of the war, perhaps it was not even completed in time. After the liberation of Al-Shaddadi town from "Daesh" by YPG/SDF in February 2016, it serves as one of the military installations. It is planned to restore work in 2021 to pump water from the Euphrates river to Hasakah city.
