Called Theotokos Phanerōmenē in Greek, part of a ruined monastic complex. Emperor Andronikos III Palaiologos may have visited a miracle-working icon of the Virgin at the monastery in 1328, from which it was known as the Theomētōr Akheiropoiētos. The monastery was the destination of pilgrims until the transfer of the miracle-working icon to Constantinople in 1922.
