  The department of Production Engineering was started in the year 1977-78 to develop professionals with the caliber to meet the industrial, managerial and manufacturing man power requirements of the developing world. The course emphasizes on complete exposure to the latest technology in industrial and manufacturing process. A combination of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering subjects has been formulated to meet this requirement.
