Bhandewadi STP 130 MLD (Sewage treatment plant) to start soon and out of this 30 MLD shall be used by New Koradi TPS.
"The daily garbage collection in the city is around 1,000-1,100 tonne. NMC will segregate it and provide 800 tonne bio-degradable waste daily to Essel-Hitachi. The companies will set up a plant to generate 11.50 MW power. The proposal will be submitted to the general body. Construction is likely to begin from 2017 and the plant will be commissioned in June 2019.
"Private agency Hanjer Biotech will continue to treat 200 tonne/day garbage. These two plants will ensure treatment, reuse and disposal of garbage,"
