Mine Luhanska, former Voroshylovhradska-1. Mine construction started in 1955, construction was suspended and mine abandoned in early 1960s, demothballed in 1966 and construction works resumed. Started up on the 11th of January 1975. After start-up of Maschivska mine in June 1990 Luhanska mine was reorganized into mine administration Luhanske.

Full name of the mine is "the Separate division of mine administration Luhanske". Mine administration Luhanske is the part of state enterprise Luhanskvuhillia, which consists of 2 mines - Luhanska and Maschinska.
