The Wells Fargo Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena in South Philadelphia. It is currently home to the Philadelphia Flyers hockey (NHL), Philadelphia 76ers basketball (NBA), Philadelphia Wings indoor lacrosse (NLL), and Philadelphia Soul arena football (AFL) teams. Additionally, it hosts a number of special events each year, including concerts, wrestling events, live stage shows, and the annual Philadelphia Wing Bowl. The Center was the former home of the ESPN X-Games (2001-2002) and also hosted the Republican National Convention in 2000 and the Democratic National Convention in 2016.

The Center was built on the site of the former John F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium and opened on August 31, 1996. It was previously named the Corestates Center, the First Union Center, and the Wachovia Center.

Capacity numbers include 21,600 seats for basketball games, 19,519 seats for hockey games, and 17,486 seats for arena football games.
