In the western part of Svishtov Town, in the old Harizanska neighborhood, in 1846 the famous Revivalist Hristaki Pavlovich-Dupnichanin built a large one-storey building to be used for educational purposes. They called it the Slavic-Bulgarian St. Nicholas School.
