Stoners Den is actually an underground cave that you lower yourself down into using a rope. The last time I visited there was a rope secured to a rock above the entrance. The cave gets lots of visitors so the trail is self evident, just follow the beaten path and watch for poison oak especially as you get near the entrance to the cave. The rocks surrounding the entrance are marred with graffiti so it will be obvious when you have arrived.
If you plan to enter the cave bring forehead lights, candles and gloves. Lore has it that the Manson family visited the cave while they were living at Spahn Ranch in the late 60's.
