This is one of two Target Tracking Radars used by the Nike Zeus installation on Kwajalein. The other is just to the southwest (below left). As the name implies, these were used to track individual targets, based on data passed to it from the DR, to the left.
Unlike #4 to the south (lower), #3 was used after the Zeus program had been cancelled. Both radars had been extensively calibrated during Zeus, so when new radars like CAMAR were being constructed, TTR #3 was refurbished to act as a calibration system for those new radars. The building has been modified from its original shape, which was identical to the #4 radar. The #1 and #2 TTRs were built in New Jersey and Ascension Island.
