Marshall Islands / Kwajalein / Ningi /
 island, U.S. National Historic Landmark

USAF Western missile tracking station. Roi Namur has several radar installations. Formerly two separate islands until the SeaBees backfilled the spit of land between them and produced a single larger island. Japanese bunkers and buildings from World War II are still in good condition.

Kawjalein has commercial passenger flight service on Continental Airlines. The 'island hopper' stops here six days weekly in route from Hawaii to Guam via the Federated States of Micronesia. Only people with proper clearances are allowed to get off the commercial planes here.
