Originally the "Peninsula Nite Club". The Peninsula Nite Club was a regular spot to find the Tommy Dorsey and Glen Miller Bands playing during the "Big Band Era" of the '40's.

In more recent years The Lizard has quickly became a favorite with the "locals." Offering high quality food served in a friendly, unique atmosphere was the foundation of our "culture" and a way of doing business that has persevered since 1983.

Today, Winking Lizard, Inc. currently operates thirteen restaurants with even higher standards of quality and execution than ever before. We continue to invest back into all aspects of our operations. The development of creative recipes, a beer list second to none, and leading edge training programs continue to position the Lizard as an up and coming industry leader.
